Arkeia Software provides federated data protection software and appliances for networked storage.  Delivering solutions for mid-sized enterprises and multi-site organizations, Arkeia Software protects more than 100,000 networks for 5,000 customers in 50 countries.  The Arkeia EdgeFort appliance, award-winning Arkeia Network Backup software, and Arkeia Options are delivered through a global network of distributors and value-added reseller partners.  Arkeia is privately held with recent venture investments from SPEF Ventures (Banque Populaire) and Crédit Agricole Private Equity. 

In the 1990s, Arkeia Software was the first company to offer a professional network backup solution for the Linux platform. Recently, Arkeia has extended its thrust by developing new solutions and expanding its offering to include all-in-one data protection solutions.

The recent introduction of the Arkeia EdgeFort appliance product line provides mid-sized enterprises and multi-site organizations with simple, reliable, and affordable data protection solutions.  EdgeFort’s federated data management architecture allows remote and centralized data protection, making it possible for remote/branch offices to backup, restore, and archive critical data, with no local IT resource needed.

Arkeia Software's groundbreaking flagship product, Arkeia Network Backup, continues as a scalable data protection solution with integrated multi-flow technology. ANB is ideal for mid-sized and large networks with large amounts of heterogeneous systems and significant data under management.
